Mini King Cake

Kingcake

Tomorrow is Mardi Gras!!! I have been wanting to make a less ambitious version of a King Cake for some time now. It had to be quick and easy considering I have a toddler and newborn at home…so here’s what I came up with…a Mini King Cake! Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls and Mardi Gras colored sugar sprinkles (that’s it!)

Separate the cinnamon rolls and unroll each. Twist each roll and then form a circle. Bake at 400 degrees for about 9-10 minutes. Ice and decorate with colored sugar….it’s that easy :)

And since they’re mini–everyone can have their own!

Baby details soon (hopefully tomorrow)…but you know how it is to find a moment these days :)
